I am obsessed with the studded look right now.
I see it everywhere; Topshop, River Island, Celebboutique, in magazines, on TV. I have been visualising a pale, thin sweater (perhaps pastel pink/cream) with studded shoulders, worn with frayed, cut-off denim shorts. If they were paired with dusty old biker boots..My gosh! What an outfit!

It has really inspired me to obtain some studs and sparkley things and stud my clothes! I am all about studded and spiked shoulders right now; even better if the shoulders are raised/padded.
I got this studded shoulder, faux leather jacket from Celebboutique a couple of weeks ago. It’s called ‘Kayley’ (by them, not me!), and as soon as I saw it, I fell in love.
It was on a waiting list as it was so popular, I had to have it – it was the coolest thing I’d ever seen.

I then started seeing it crop up on many of the cast members of ‘The Only Way is Essex’ (TOWIE), some footballers wives, and cast members from ‘Scouse Wives’ wives in the UK, Jennifer Elllison and Katie Price (AKA: Jordan); I don’t know if this takes away from the coolness, or makes it less unique, but nevertheless- it’s beautiful, makes me feel fierce and not to be messed with :)

I have yet to try the jacket with hair down, and as you can see it works well with updo’s, of various styles, to really showcase the shoulder detail…And not get your hair stuck to the studs, youch!
